Some guests have ground transportation included in their packages. Please refer to those accommodations as scheduled. For guests needing transportation, we're working with a local company to provide roundtrip accommodations for all guests to and from the airport. Please check back soon for updates.
We hope our wedding will be a fun excuse to wear your favorite cocktail attire! For men, slacks, linen shirts, and nice sandals or dress shoes are appropriate. Feel free to wear a suit and tie as well. Ladies, a nice sundress or dressy pants/jumpsuit will be fine. All outdoor activities allow beach and pool attire. Casual or dinner attire is required by most restaurants and indoor bars.
The average temperature during the first week of October is 84 degrees. Although October is the end of rainy season for Cancun, rain showers historically occur only once or twice daily in small bursts of no more than 20 to 30 minutes.
Your presence at our wedding is a huge gift to us! You certainly don’t have to bring a wedding gift to Mexico! If you still wish give us a gift, kindly do so before the wedding or after you come back.
You'll want to bring a bundle of 1’s and/or 5’s for tipping around the resort. Gratuities are technically included with your travel package, but based on our travel experience, you’ll want to tip the bartenders and waiters taking care of you. The shuttle driver is not a hotel employee and will most likely expect a tip, as will the airport employees. Tours, excursions and spa treatments are not included. You can pay with cash or credit card for these at the hotel. Again, U.S. cash for tips is fine.
Since the Mexican peso to U.S. dollar exchange rate fluctuates, be sure to check the conversion before you go. American dollars ARE ACCEPTED, though you may get change back in pesos.
