OUR WEDDING

The first day of freshman year at Miami University, all first year students gathered into the Goggin Ice Arena for a keynote speaker welcoming them on campus. Ashley and her roommate Torey Loeb had taken their seats when two handsome young men walked up and asked if they could sit next to them. That so happened to be Bobby and his roommate, Kyle Oosterhouse! They all introduced themselves, chatted, and exchanged numbers… but then continued on their freshman years with the rare run in on campus or between Torey and Bobby's mutual engineering class circles. It wasn't until Sophomore year that they reconnected when both Bobby and Ashley (along with Ashley's twin sister Alexa) joined the Pi Sigma Epsilon Business Fraternity! Their new member class was then divided into groups for their first business project. Funny enough, Bobby and Alexa were put in the same group! To this day, thanks to both of their extremely competitive personalities, they have maintained bragging rights that their team won 1st place. As time went on, Ashley & Bobby continued to have more mutual friends and experiences where their social circles overlapped. Once school started Junior year, Ashley more frequently would join Torey at King Library... specifically when Torey was studying for her engineering classes with Bobby and their mutual friend Conor Byrne. Finally, that September it was Ashley & Alexa's birthday and they hosted a party. Bobby and Ashley ended up dancing the night away on the Side Bar dance floor and were inseparable the rest of the evening. They made it ~official~ one month later! Things only got better when by pure chance Ashley and Bobby had signed leases for houses directly across the street from each other the next year. The rest is history! We feel so lucky that our love story over the last 7+ years has been intertwined with so many of our closest friends and family. We cannot WAIT to celebrate our love with you all on our special day!
