WHAT ARE THE VISA AND/OR PASSPORT REQUIREMENTS FOR MEXICO?

Answer

Travel to Mexico requires valid passports, even for US Citizens. Please ensure that your passport expires after 6 months from the date of entry into Mexico. Mexico has no visa requirement for US, Canada, UK, and Australian Citizens, but you will be asked to fill out a FMM form (Mexico's visitor permit) on the plane or once you land. Once you get to immigration and customs at Cancún airport, the agents will give you the bottom half to retain until you leave the country. It is VERY important to keep this secure until you leave Mexico. Indian Citizens will need to obtain a tourist visa unless you have a valid US Visa or are permanent residents of Canada, UK, or Japan. Please verify requirements before travel, you can find specific requirements here: https://embamex.sre.gob.mx/india/index.php/visas. As a Kenyan passport holder, you cannot travel to Mexico unless you apply for a visa at the nearest Mexican embassy. You also need to purchase a Mexico tourist card, also known as a Forma Migratoria Múltiple. WHAT TIME IS CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT AT PLANET HOLLYWOOD CANCUN?

Answer

Check-in time is at 3pm and check-out time is at 12pm. Reservations made through the booking link will be given priority on early check-in times as we will make requests directly with resort management. Early check-in and late check out is not guaranteed, but the resort will do their best. Guests are welcome to stay on property all day the day of check-in and check-out. Bags will be stored with your butler staff when you don't have access to your room.

WHERE DO WE RSVP AND WHEN IS THE DEADLINE?

Answer

Please RSVP by booking your room by July 31st, 2023 on the Shaadi Destinations link located in the booking section. The transfer should be booked by October 1st, 2023.

CAN I BOOK MY HOTEL THROUGH A DIFFERENT WEBSITE? (EXPEDIA OR DIRECTLY THROUGH THE HOTEL)

Answer

NO. Reservations must be made through our discounted group block under the booking tab in order to attend wedding events. Additional charges will be required to receive wedding wristband required to attend wedding events if NOT booking through our group block with Shaadi Destinations (ie - using Expedia or even the resort's website is not permitted).

IS THERE TRANSPORTATION AVAILABLE BETWEEN CANCÚN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT AND THE RESORT?

Answer

We have negotiated round-trip airport transfers for the guests. Please visit the booking tab for additional information.

WHAT ARE YOUR COVID PROTOCOLS?

Answer

We are asking that those who are attending to be fully vaccinated. We have a lot of elderly family members and children so we want to ensure that we are prioritizing safety.

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM NIGHT STAY ON YOUR ROOM BLOCK?

Answer

Our room block pricing is valid for November 13-20, 2023. Guests must book at least 3 night minimum. We recommend booking November 16-18 with check out being the 19th. If you would like a late check out, that will be based on the resorts availability. You are more than welcome to arrive earlier and stay longer to enjoy Cancun to its fullest.

CAN I STAY AT A DIFFERENT RESORT?

Answer

The answer is yes. However, keep in mind that to enter the resort for each event will cost $250 per person if not a guest at Planet Hollywood.
