Austin and Tori first met their Freshman year of college at CU Boulder through mutual friends. The two of them were friends through their first few years of school and saw each other regularly on campus, sporting events, The Hill and Pearl Street, but it wasn't until the beginning of their Senior year that the two really hit it off!

Austin and Tori had their first "real" date at Reuben's restaurant in Boulder on Thursday, September 10, 2015. Austin made sure to pick a restaurant that was well equipped with TVs as this was also the night of the first regular NFL game of the 2015 season. The two spent the next 5 years going on countless mountain trips, concerts and sporting events, and along the way moved into their first apartment, bought their first house and added a Golden Retriever puppy and a rescue Anatolian Shepherd from Turkey! Shout out Bogey and Blue!

Originally, Tori and Austin had planned to go to Breckenridge in early April for a ski trip just the two of them where Austin had plans to drop to a knee at the top of the mountain, but due to the world events of 2020, that trip was quickly cancelled and Austin had to pivot to a plan B he didn't think he'd need. That plan B included their 6 month old puppy, Bogey, and a collar that read "Mommy, will you marry daddy?". You can guess what happened next! <3
