Ashley and Tyler met on Hinge (like Tinder, but classy). ;) After five months of messaging, Tyler finally asked her on their first date. They met up after work in San Francisco, grabbed roadies at the corner store, and walked over to 25 Lusk. They hit it off immediately, and extended the night with drinks at the Alchemist. As they say, the rest is history.

One day in early August, Tyler suggested that they take a hike up to Angel Island on August 25. Ashley agreed, but didn't think much of it since it was a few weeks away. Since Tyler is not much of a planner, she got suspicious when she saw that he'd printed out ferry tickets and laid them on the kitchen counter the night before. When he left to go pick up picnic supplies, she knew for sure that something was up, and went to go get a manicure. He proposed at the top of Angel Island, just as the fog parted to reveal San Francisco's skyline. When they returned home that afternoon, friends and family were all gathered in the backyard for a surprise engagement party.
