Question

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

Underwear, for sure. (Just kidding! But on a serious note, please don't forget your underpants!) You can wear a formal outfit or even something that is dressy causal. You definitely can't go wrong wearing your Sunday's best. Whichever of the two styles you feel most comfortable wearing.

Question

Will the ceremony or reception be indoors or outside?

Answer

Both will be indoors. With it being summer in Texas, it is likely to be a hot day.

Question

I've never been to a catholic wedding ceremony...what can I expect?

Answer

The catholic wedding ceremony generally lasts an hour long. At different parts of the ceremony, people stand up, sit down, or kneel. You will know when it is appropriate to do these things when everyone suddenly changes position, so just feel free to go with the flow! There will be a part where we join hands and pray the Lord's prayer together. Shortly following that, people turn to each other and shake hands. When that happens, you say "peace be with you" and shake their hand. There are also some phrases that people say after the priest, but you don't have to say them. As for communion, you are not obligated to form in the line. You can choose to remain seated in the pew. If you have any questions prior to the wedding day, feel free to hit us up!

Question

Will there be alcohol served at the reception?

Answer

Yes, please enjoy a few drinks on us if you wish! We will be serving Shiner Bock and Miller Lite, as well as a few red and white wines. However, if you prefer another drink, there will be a cash bar available for you to purchase the drink of your choosing.
