Minturn
Visit our favorite little mountain town: Minturn! This is where we eloped, and the second you roll into town, you will see why this place is so special to us! Stay at the charming Minturn Inn, fish the Eagle River or take a stroll through Maloit Park, and grab a drink at Minturn Whisky Co. (where we signed our marriage license!). We guarantee this hidden gem will capture your heart, just as it captured ours!
Rocky Mountain National Park
One of our favorite locations in Colorado! Beautiful spot for a drive or hike if you have an extra day. Don't forget to check out Estes Park, home of the famous Stanley Hotel while you're there. We also highly recommend Antonio's Pizza (closed on Sundays!), try the Black Eye Ranch if you're a fan of spice!

Our favorite local pizza joint, plus it's within walking distance of the hotels! Be sure to check out their specials & happy hour deals.
Golden Gate Canyon State Park
Golden Gate Canyon is a beautiful state park within an hour drive of the hotels with plenty of hiking & several fishable lakes. Park entrance & hunting/fishing license fees go towards wildlife conservation, a cause which is very dear to our hearts!
