The dress code for our wedding is cocktail/semi-formal attire. Cocktail dresses, evening floor-length dresses, a suit and tie or sports coat would all be acceptable. With that being said, we are far more concerned about you being there and sharing in our day than what you are wearing!
These are great questions that we wish we had answers to! Our best guess is that the temperature will be in the 45-75 degree range. With this being said, we would encourage you to bring a light jacket if desired. The ceremony and cocktail hour are anticipated to be outdoors however we have an indoor backup plan if needed due to rain or other conditions. The reception will be indoors.
Please utilize the following address, 26 Park Avenue Barnesville, PA 18214. Be advised, the venue has noted that some GPS systems may not recognize this address. Alternatively, you can search the Brown Bag gas pumps (832 Barnesville Drive, Barnesville PA 18214) on route 54. This gas station is located directly across from our venue, you will see a ”Catalpa Grove” sign with a private road leading up to the venue.
Yes! The venue is wheelchair accessible.
We recommend that you arrive between 2:30-2:45pm, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the ceremony started as scheduled!
We invite you to be fully present with us during our ceremony, so please turn off all phones and cameras. Thank you!
After the ceremony, we will be taking pictures nearby for about an hour. These photos may involve our family and friends, so please don’t wander too far! Guests can enjoy finger foods and beverages during this time. We also ask that you sign our guestbook.
Your presence is present enough, but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift table with a card box for your convenience.
Please RSVP by March 26th via our RSVP page on our wedding website to allow us ample time to provide information to our venue and vendors.
You will truly be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.
