so it all began around age 12. rowan met kenzie at school and they quickly became besties. one day kenzie invited rowan over to her house but forgot to mention that she had a cutie older brother. so rowan developed a little crush on him for some years but never thought anything of it. as it turns out, tyler thought she was a cutie too *audience says: aww* anyways years pass by but neither of them thought anything of it. ~UNTIL~ rowan gave her life to christ and began hanging around tyler a lot more. one day at Christian assembly's youth group, tyler was leading worship and rowan noticed how spirit-driven he was and had the thought "wow, I hope that my future husband worships the lord like that." *reader smirks because they know where this is going* so rowan develops a massive crush on tyler from then on but feels quite consumed by it so she asks the lord to take away her feelings for him *crowd boos* and rowan was able to move on, thinking she would never have a shot with tyler anyways. -- the end -- SIKE! tyler and rowan both got hired on at Christian assembly to run the communications department together which allowed them to get to know one another a little better. now we're getting somewhere... tyler begins to realize that rowan had radiant beauty... more importantly, her beautiful personality and the spiritual growth in her life by her life-changing testimony and relationship with Christ. So as tyler began to realize these wonderful qualities of Rowan, He spent time in prayer and fasting before making a big move. On October 3rd, 2019 Tyler asked Rowan, "will you be my girlfriend?", haha jk he just asked her out for some food and a brisk stroll in the park. Ever since then, things kicked off with some really high moments and low ones too, but they had Christ as their foundation keeping them grounded. A couple of years later, Tyler bought Rowan a ring and took her to Clear Creek Park for another one of those brisk strolls...except this time he had some bling to show off. they made their way up to a bench that was perfectly lit by the sun rays coming through the trees at the top of an overlook. tyler begins telling rowan all the reasons he loves her and then gets down on one knee and pops open the bling. rowan is crying. the ring box is upside down. but she says yes anyways. *crowd erupts in applause*
