How We Met

Rebekah and Tyler had been neighbors for years, but it wasn't until they were teenagers that they finally met. It happened at a birthday party of one of their mutual friends. They were both drawn to each other immediately, and it was clear that there was a spark between them. They started talking and found out that they had a lot in common. They both loved the outdoors, and were both passionate about exploring and going on adventures. They would often go camping together and spend hours talking and exploring the wilderness. As their friendship grew, so did their feelings for each other. They soon realized that they had fallen in love and couldn't imagine life without each other. They had so many wonderful memories together, and were both so grateful to have found such an amazing person. They moved in together after about a year and have been inseparable ever since.

The Proposal

Rebekah and Tyler had been together for three years and they both knew they loved one another deeply. Tyler had always been supportive of Rebekah's dream of becoming a nurse, and when she graduated from her Licensed Practical Nurse program, he decided to take her and her sister, Autumn, and Autumn's then-boyfriend, now baby daddy, to a special place in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. The place he chose was Montebello. It was the same place they had gone on their first trip together. Tyler had a plan in mind and led them all on a difficult hike to a beautiful waterfall. When they finally reached the main waterfall, Tyler asked Autumn to take a picture. To Rebekah's surprise, he pulled out a ring and proposed. She was so shocked that she called him a liar and began to sob as she said yes.
