Matron of Honor
Chance made us sisters, hearts made us friends. I am SO lucky to have a wedding planner extraordinaire as my Matron of Honor. Growing up she always copied everything I did but somehow did it twice as well. The years have only brought us closer together. I know I can always count on Chelsea to give me life advice, sew me a last minute comic-con costume, and do fun hoppy dances around our parent's living room!
Best Man
Brett and I grew up together in Pennsylvania, and we were always competitive growing up. Every day was a different game or competition, whether it was video games, school, or sports - I'm still convinced he chose golf at least in part because he beat me so badly at it. Now that we are older, everyone who meets us immediately knows we are brothers. I talk to Brett on the phone nearly every Tuesday night to this day, and it's uncanny how our opinions tend to dovetail on how to handle situations at work or with friends despite being hundreds of miles apart. I couldn't imagine getting married without Brett by my side, and I'm excited to have him up there for our big day.
Bridesman
It's been so fun watching Tristan grow up from being my crazy little brother to being my crazy adult little brother! When we both lived in DC we worked down the street from each other which was so fun. Now he lives in Denver, CO and has been working for Apple for the last 7 years. We love our yearly siblings trip to Comic-con. He is always willing to dress up in costumes and sacrifice sleep to wait in lines with me! He has one of the most infectious laughs and is definitely the clown of our family!
Groomsman
Robert and I were roommates at William and Mary for three years. He remains to this day the person I have lived with the longest who is not related to me, and given the close quarters in college dorm rooms, we saw each other's living habits up close to say the least. We initially met and bonded over a mutual love of William and Mary Tribe Sports. Rooting for a team that perpetually came up short can be taxing, and I have always been impressed with Robert's optimism and ability to still be genuinely invested in what quickly came to seem like foregone conclusions. Despite Robert relocating to the west coast, we still discuss the state of Tribe sports (and also other subjects!) nearly every day.
Bridesmaid
Megan and I met at the 8th grade science fair and quickly became best friends. Megan teaches in Northern Virginia and is a mother of 2 adorable children (her daughter Teagan is my flower girl!) We love to have Psych and baking marathons. Her family is like my second family and vice-versa. I've gone on Disney vacations with her family and she's been on beach and Disney vacations with mine. So it's fitting that she and Kelli were such an integral part of my Disney engagement! When the 3 of us get together there is a lot of laughing until our sides hurt.
Groomsman
Peter and I lived together at William and Mary (triple overcrowd!). Despite having a first hand view for my "Sophomore Man of the Year" phase, he signed up for another round of living together here in Charlotte. He is an endless wellspring of witticisms and trivial knowledge, as well as a Grade A fashionista (see picture). Whether we were supporting the Tribe through narrow wins and blowout losses, exploring the greater Charlotte area, or traveling to far flung destinations abroad, I always have a blast when we get together. I'm looking forward to Peter bringing his special brand of charm and levity to our wedding weekend festivities.

Kelli and I became friends when our siblings were on the same soccer team and we used to hang out during their games. Then we were in the same class in the 6th grade. Kelli, Megan, and I used to have "study" nights that mostly consisted of puffy painting t-shirts and dancing to Sugar Hill Gang's Jump on It. She came to visit me for my first New Years in Charlotte and was one of my very first friends to meet Tyler!

Abhi was another member of our suite at William and Mary junior and senior year. He did an impressive job of matching our Tribe sports enthusiasm while also maintaining other interests, while the rest of us sometimes struggled to grasp that concept. One of his strange "other" hobbies in college was international relations, which he eventually parlayed into a Fulbright Scholarship in Kyrgyzstan. This precipitated a truly once in a lifetime college reunion in a country I honestly may not have been able to find on a map, and now will never forget. I'm looking forward to my front row seat to whatever Abhi's next journey may be!
Bridesmaid
Mary and I both interned at EY in college. When I moved to DC after graduating to work full time at EY, Mary was my first friend. We became roommates at the legendary Arlington Gold for 4 years until she and her husband Gabe bought a house a street over and then we became neighbors! We had so much fun making the most of living in DC in our 20s - we played on the same soccer team, hosted great parties at AG, even had a streak where we tried to be pool sharks at Whitlows. We also have our very own friendship ice cream sundae! (Chocolate ice cream with brownies and strawberries mixed in and whipped cream on top mmmm)
Groomsman
Scott was a frequent visitor to our William and Mary suite, though he had the good sense to live in more hygienic conditions elsewhere. Scott still lives in Williamsburg today with his wife Kristin and young child / mini-tank Albert, and we often take advantage of their generous hospitality when we are back in town to visit. He's a man of many talents and was generally the best player on our ill-fated rec sports teams, but fortunately has not yet figured out how to consistently beat me in ping pong.
Bridesmaid
Sara and I became friends in DC. We have traveled to some legendary places together such as Atlantic City, Las Vegas, New Orleans for Mardi Gras, and Disney for the Princess half marathon! Sara has her PhD in clinical psychology and now lives in CT. She and her husband Scott host a "Here's to Good Friends" weekend at their family's lake house in Maine every summer and it is always one of my favorite weekends of the year!
Groomsman
While Patrick and I attended William and Mary at the same time, we really only became friends when he relocated to Charlotte and moved in with me. I was and am immensely impressed with Patrick's strong religious convictions paired with sincerely loving and accepting attitude towards others. He was a constant source of positive energy both in our home and in the greater Charlotte community, where he was a refugee resettlement case worker who helped children integrate to an unfamiliar living situation in the US. Thank you to Megan Lyons for making the introduction, and to Patrick for being a part of our big day!
Bridesmaid
We met in line for the premiere of Outlander at Comic-con and immediately became friends! (waiting in a 5 hour line and sharing free pizza is a good way to make lifetime friends!) Turns out she grew up in Northern VA about an hour from me, such a small world! Lara comes up with great costumes for us every year and is the reason I got to meet the entire cast of the Magicians last year! We love going to themed dance parties and trading fun baking ideas and book recommendations (though its mostly her recommending books to me!)
Groomsman
Brandon and I survived the gauntlet of supervising the Red Ventures call center together for multiple years. We have since both moved on to different employment, but still continue to get together on a very regular basis. Brandon provides a thoughtful and witty perspective on millenial life in Charlotte while also being a bit too willing of an accomplice for trying new experiences around the city (fortunately, none of those have photo evidence). He's always up for an adventure and ready to jump into the next activity together, whether it's a restaurant across town, yet another new Charlotte brewery, or even a wedding party.
Bridesmaid
Virginia and I were on the same freshman hall at William and Mary (Fauquier 2nd Upper!!). We managed to keep in touch while she lived in Ukraine for 2 years during Peace Corps, her grad school in Missouri and my grad school in England! When we both lived in DC we loved to throw parties (annual ornament exchanges and royal baby shower tea parties), play trivia at dive bars, and wait in long lines for fun bar pop ups!
Groomsman
Garrett and I met playing adult kickball in Charlotte when he was placed on our team as a free agent. We only actually played together for one season, but it helped us become fast friends. Garrett is always looking for a way to get off the beaten path, both in his travels and in Charlotte where he is regularly suggesting a restaurant or bar to explore that I have never heard of. Garrett and his wife Maria have recently become parents to baby Cole who will be almost 1 by the time of our wedding, so he's just embarking on his biggest adventure yet!
