Tyler and I first met when we were in 6th grade at a high school football game where he first called me "Julie of the Wolves" because it was a book they had just recently finished. From that point on he would always howl at me. Even as a kid he was always such a funny & friendly person so that sparked our immediate friendship. We tried to casually date after high school but it was never the right timing, although he was always on my mind. I went off to school in Philadelphia but would intermittently come back to see my best friends who stayed local. One of those nights I came back was to celebrate Thanksgiving Eve with best friends. Just like any local bar on Thanksgiving Eve it was flooded with old friends and acquaintances. While we were waiting for our other best friend at the bar I decided to call her to see when she was coming. I picked up the phone and as it was ringing I hear, "Who are you calling, me?" I look up to see Tyler standing across the bar. Little did he know I had mentioned to my best friend Jess that he was one of the people I hoped to see that night. Whether I willed it into existence or not from that day forward we were inseparable. Four years later he's my best friend, DIY contractor, joke master and the father of my.... dogs.
The night he proposed he took me back to that very spot we met by the scoreboard at our high school during the middle of a football game. He got down on one knee and asked me to marry him... and I guess you know the answer!
