We’re Getting Married!!

Though the COVID-19 pandemic was unprecedented and interrupted our everyday lives for a period, we attribute the pandemic to Jasmine and Tyler's meeting. In a very serendipitous way, Jasmine moved from Philadelphia, back to Richmond, in May 2020. She wanted to be closer to her family and coincidentally, her company completed an acquisition in the Richmond area. Thus, she was able to make a seamless transition to the Richmond site. During that time period, Tyler had just returned home to Richmond, from a month-long business trip in India. With the stay home ordinances active across the country, Tyler, a social butterfly, was unable to go out to meet new people. After speaking with a friend, it was recommended that he try the dating website Bumble to meet new people. It should be noted that this was the first time that Tyler had ever utilized a dating website. After moving back to Richmond, Jasmine also sought to meet new people and decided to utilize Bumble too. At that moment, a swipe right on the Bumble app matched Jasmine and Tyler for a lifetime. From there, their interactions were effortless and they quickly knew that they wanted to be committed to one another. Especially Tyler, who said to himself when he saw Jasmine on Bumble, that if they matched and met, he knew that she would be the one.
