We met in Savannah, Georgia where Tyler was the plumber working on my sink. My mother who was with me at the time - talked a big game about this plumber… “He’s so nice. He didn’t over charge me. He even used the parts I had. Oh! & he’s from Massachusetts. You should really talk to him!” We both sparked up conversation with one another. Before he left, he asked if I wanted his number. After we exchanged, he immediately asked me out to dinner that night. I said yes. We went out on the town in Savannah & had our first kiss at Leopold's Ice Cream that evening. & we’ve been together ever since. & now have 3 beautiful children.

We celebrated our anniversary at the Olde Pink House in Savannah, GA with our kids. As I was taking the kids to the restroom Tyler was setting up for his proposal. Arriving back at the table - our meal had arrived! Tyler had asked me to try his steak. Being that I was on a one way ticket to “hangry town” & only had one hand available as the other was holding Silas. I grabbed with my hand where he wacked it! "BABE! we are in a fancy resturant use your fork!" Grabbing my fork & reaching for the steak… what I didn’t realize is that… I had just flung the ring at Tyler, which landed in his steak sauce. Continuing to eat & without missing a beat… Tyler shouted "BABE!" Looking up at him… He began to laugh. Wiping the ring clean he came around to my side. Moira & Silas held me tight on each side as Tyler proceeded to get on one knee & ask me to marry him.
