Tyler and I met online, but I knew straight away that I wanted to meet him. We talked for less than a week before we made a date, and he drove an hour to meet me. Our first date consisted of a trip to the Ivy Green museum, fried pickles, and quirky conversation. By the end of the night I knew he was different than anyone I had ever met before, and that this could really be something. We took turns commuting to see each other, had several adventures, and fell more and more in love during the three and a half years before we got engaged. Tyler proposed April 25th; it was actually the week that I moved to be with him here in Madison. I came over to help him pack, and he decided to take me on an impromptu date to the botanical gardens in Huntsville. We explored the grounds for an hour before he tapped me on the shoulder and I looked over to find him on his knee with the ring. Since then we have been planning our date in November, and enjoying our time together in the same zip code!
