Tyler and I met the summer before my freshmen year. Although we first spoke on the phone through text we first met the summer before my freshmen year. Tyler and I both had practices for band and football before school started in the fall. That was when we first met and I will never forget how awkward we both were. Once school started we hung out every chance we got in and out of school.
Tyler seized the moment and popped the question on our 7th-year anniversary. I was clueless the whole day about what was to happen later that night. We had spent the whole day walking around Wimberly, shopping and enjoying each other's company. He had made dinner reservations at Kevin Fowlers restaurant that had just recently opened. I was wanting to go there so badly. As our meal was coming to an end the waitress offered a free dessert as we were celebrating our anniversary. As the dessert, or so I thought was coming out on a tray with a dome full of fog, she opens the dome and revealed the prettiest ring I could ever imagine. At this point, I'm in shock as Tyler gets up and gets on his knee. By surprise the first words I said were not "yes" but in fact "no you didn't". Not long after of course, I said YES!
