We were both attending college in Idaho and lived in apartments right across from each other for months without knowing it! A mutual friend brought us together and we started getting to know each other and joined friend groups. Tye had feelings for me immediately but I did not feel the same. However, he was very persistent and eventually I couldn’t say no anymore. We began dating and spent every moment we could together going on adventures and hanging out with friends. Since then, we’ve moved a lot and have followed each other to different places due to health and work, but we are finally settling down back where we met!

Tye & I decided it was time to move back to Idaho because of how much we enjoy the beautiful scenery and countless things to do outdoors. It was our second day driving all the way from Texas and we pulled off the road in Moab, Utah to take in the scenery of orange rock faces and snowy mountains. There was a giant rock arch off to the side and we decided to hike up to the top. When we got to the top, I was taking pictures and admiring the view and when I turned around Tye was on his knee and asked me to spend forever with him. Of course I said yes:)
