Question

What does ALL BLACK Semi-Formal mean?

Answer

We are asking that all of our guests wear all black. Men are okay to wear white button-up shirts, with everything else black. We ask that you please refrain from wearing anything velvet. Semi-formal attire is an outfit that is dressier than what you'd wear to an office but not as dressy as a formal evening gown or tuxedo. For women: When you're shopping for semi-formal attire for women, you can skip the evening gown and wear a cocktail dress instead. Dressy jumpsuits, rompers, and separates are also appropriate semi-formal wedding attire options. For men: Men's semi-formal wedding attire strikes a balance between formal and casual wear. It typically involves wearing a suit, dress shirt, and dress shoes. However, it allows for a bit more flexibility and personal style compared to formal attire. Ties are optional, not required.

Question

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

We are having an extremely intimate wedding with no more than 50 guests. Those who have been invited to attend are those listed on the invitation & in the RSVP sections of our website.

Question

What day should I RSVP by?

Answer

We are asking that all of our guest please RSVP no later than January 5, 2024. Please don’t forget to include songs you would love to hear & dietary restrictions.

Question

What time should I get to the venue?

Answer

The invitation language is a bit confusing, for that we do apologize. Please arrive no later than 4:30PM. We need a bit of time to get everyone seated. The ceremony will be starting promptly at 5:00PM.

Question

Is there anything I should know about the venue?

Answer

The property is located on the side of a steep hill. When pulling into the driveway, be prepared to make a sharp turn from the main highway (which can have heavy traffic at times). The entrance is marked with a white mailbox.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

We will have signs upon entry to guide you to where to park. Drive slowly up the driveway (it is steep and has a few potholes). Please be careful not to park too close to the edge of the cliff. The owners are still working on building up the main parking area so feel free to park on the grass behind the porte-cochere. There is a large field where you can safely park.

Question

Is there anything specific we should know about your wedding?

Answer

We are having, what we would consider, a small & intimate micro-wedding. There will not be a seated dinner. We will have a buffet setup in the kitchen area of the house & our guests are welcome to sit wherever they are comfortable (dining room, bar, living room, reception room, etc.)

Question

Have you reserved a room block at any hotels?

Answer

Unfortunately, no. We are not able to block rooms because of how small the party is going to be. However, we have listed a nearby hotel (“Party Responsibly” tab on our website) if you do need a place to stay. Please DO NOT drink & drive.

Question

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

We'll be serving appetizers at cocktail hour followed by a buffet with a selection of salads, pasta, chicken, beef, shrimp and pork. There will be about 4 side dishes offered as well.

Question

What is the bar situation?

Answer

We will be providing beer, wine, spiked seltzers, and a signature tequila drink. If you would like to drink something else, feel free to bring whatever you would like.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

Our registry is located in the “Our Future” tab of this website. Our featured fund is most important to us as it will be used to help us start our own family. Please contribute what you wish.

Question

Can I post wedding photos on social media?

Answer

We are encouraging our guests to take as many photos at the event as you would like. If you would like to post them on social media, please just tag us both in the pictures & use the hashtag #twinflames222. Also, please look for and scan the QR code at the wedding for the POV app so we can have a shared digital album as well.

Question

Will you be live streaming the wedding?

Answer

Yes. Because we couldn’t host everyone we wanted, we will be live streaming the ceremony portion of our wedding. Please RSVP to the “Virtual Twin Flame Wedding” if you received an invitation. A week before the wedding, you will be sent a zoom invite to watch the ceremony.
