The Wedding Website of Nicole Smith and Matt Tuttle
There are lots of ways to travel around Italy! We’ve used the website www.Rome2Rio.com to travel all over the world and it works great! It can give you accurate walking, driving, bus, and train directions almost anywhere in the world.

Flight

Airports

Ciampino Airport (CIA) is the closest airport from Rome and is attached to the city. It is well connected by trains, buses, and taxis from the city center. Almost all the major attractions are half an hour away from the airport. Fiumicino Airport (FCO) is 30 kilometres (18.6 miles) away from the city center. There are plenty of non-stop flights from LAX and the east coast to this airport. Hundreds of amazing European cities are within a short flight of Rome. Perhaps while you already in Europe you make time to see other cities such as Florence, Lisbon, Madrid, or Paris! Contact us if you'd like some ideas to get you started!

Train

Train from Rome to Lake Bracciano

Hop on a train heading towards Viterbo from Ostiense train station (connected to Rome’s metro at the Piramide stop), and you’ll be stepping into the sunlight at Bracciano in just over an hour (€3.60). Trains leave every half hour (except on Sundays and holidays, when they’re less frequent). The station is in the middle of the town, just 5 minutes walk from the historic center. By train from Rome : https://www.trenitalia.com/ from airport : train to Rome and then connection to Bracciano Leonardo express https://www.trenitalia.com/it/treni_regionali/lazio/leonardo_express.html or REGIONAL LINE FL1 from/to other Rome stations, with departures every 15 minutes on working days and every 30 minutes on weekends and holidays.
