Ciampino Airport (CIA) is the closest airport from Rome and is attached to the city. It is well connected by trains, buses, and taxis from the city center. Almost all the major attractions are half an hour away from the airport. Fiumicino Airport (FCO) is 30 kilometres (18.6 miles) away from the city center. There are plenty of non-stop flights from LAX and the east coast to this airport. Hundreds of amazing European cities are within a short flight of Rome. Perhaps while you already in Europe you make time to see other cities such as Florence, Lisbon, Madrid, or Paris! Contact us if you'd like some ideas to get you started!
