After college, Tucker and Taylor each decided to go teach English in Thailand for a 6 month program that started in October 2017. As part of the program, they were placed together on Koh Phangan for 3 weeks to get their TEFL certifications. During those 3 weeks they really enjoyed spending time together and became close friends! After graduating the program, Tucker went to teach in Huai Kwang, Bangkok and Taylor was placed an hour outside of Bangkok in Sam Phran. They would spend the weekends hanging out with each other & exploring Bangkok. Their first official date was New Year's Eve. They spent the next few months dating. Tucker had a 1-month trip planned to go to Chiang Mai (Northern Thailand), Hanoi & Ha Long Bay in Vietnam, Seoul and the last stop would be Japan (Tokyo, Osaka & Kyoto). Taylor was only supposed to join Tucker in Seoul and Japan, but plans changed and their 2 week trip turned into a month long journey! They also stopped in California on the way home to visit Jaclyn (Taylor's sister & Maid of Honor). After making it through 1 month of high impact time traveling around Asia, they knew they had a good thing going.

Tucker & Taylor were very lucky that they weren't going to be very far from each other after getting back from Thailand! Tucker lived in a rowhouse in Baltimore and Taylor was spending some time at her parents' house in Severna Park. A 30 minute drive isn't too bad for meeting in Thailand! As time went on, Taylor decided that she also wanted to move to Baltimore. It just so happens that the only place she found was 2 blocks away from Tucker's rowhouse! Luckily, it turned out to be a good thing. Tucker & Taylor spent a lot of time hanging out in Taylor's studio apartment. They often enjoyed cooking together or watching the sunset with a nice cocktail. They then moved into a 1 bedroom together in the same building as Taylor's studio! Pittsburgh is the next chapter in their story. Tucker enrolled in the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon and they were both excited to explore a new city! They had fun exploring Pittsburgh for 2 years! They made a lot of close friends during their time there. Tucker graduated in May 2023 and then they were on their way to Alexandria, Virginia!

Tucker & Taylor fell in love with a small town in Alexandria, Virginia called Del Ray. They bought their home in January of 2023 and officially moved in after Tucker's graduation end of May 2023. They've enjoyed exploring the area and frequently go to Old Town Alexandria and local places in Del Ray. Their favorite spots include Evening Star and The Garden! They welcomed their puppy, Phoebe, to their family in February 2024. She's been enjoying life in Del Ray and loves her new home!
