We met playing softball on the National Mall. Kelly was new to the city and decided to join a league to meet new people. She didn't really know anyone on the team, but fortunately, Tucker introduced himself. We immediately hit it off, sharing our love for Bruce Springsteen and the Jersey Shore. We went on a date a few weeks later, and it has been history ever since.

We went on a trip to Italy, where we visited Rome, Florence, and Venice. It was our first big international travel together. When we were in Florence, Tucker suggested we go to a piazza that overlooked the entire city. Kelly, of course, agreed. Once we got to the top, the view was breathtaking with a panoramic view of the city and countryside. There was a large group of people crowded on the side of the piazza that overlooked Florence. No one was on the side that looked over the rolling hills of the countryside. We walked over to the far side and were taking in the incredible view. That was when Tucker got down on his knee and asked Kelly to marry him. It was perfect! We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter with you all! See you in New Jersey!
