Hailing from the green forests of Biscay in northern Spain, Maite met Elizabeth at a strange, magical place far away from home: the Penn campus in Philadelphia. Little she knew back then how much that blonde beauty with a contagious smile and a heart of gold would mean for her a decade (+) later. Whether it's over tea or wine, a fun night-out or a quiet night-in, speaking about very serious world affairs or (simply) how good looking the groom is - all time falls short when together, and Maite is most grateful for the bride's friendship. The basques don't say "friends" but "lagunak", which literally means: the one that helps. As maid of honor, Maite is ready to support Elizabeth in this beautiful journey so that she keeps that smile we all love throughout all.

I’m Tucker! I met other Tucker in our dorm freshman year of college and we’ve been fast friends since. Tucker and I lived together when he and Elizabeth started dating and we’ve spent lots of time together since.

I met Tucker when I was 3 years, 2 months and 1 week old… Despite my attempts to convince him he was in fact NOT my brother, but an earthling we took in to seem more “normal”… aaaand the casual attempts to regain my only child status (pictured)… he still speaks to me. As his sister, I am so proud to have watched him grow up into a good man, and to witness Elizabeth’s influence in making him a better one. Looking so forward to celebrating these two amazing people and gain a sister in EB. Cheers to this amazing couple!

I first met Elizabeth in a Philadelphia hospital after a wild night I can't even remember. Tucker I met a few years later at a bar in Buenos Aires. I thought he was a nice guy, but he kept trying to hit on my sister. Having met Elizabeth when I was quite young, I grew up admiring her and trying to get her to play Legend of Zelda with me. With limited success in that, I watched Dragonball Z for about 10 years before going to college, becoming a geologist, hosting a few pig roasts, and moving to South Korea where I currently live and work in sustainable development.

A fellow Penn Quaker, Julia didn't meet Elizabeth until after graduation in New York. At the time, they were both living near Times Square in the same building as Ariana Grande (a lot less glamorous than it sounds!) The two became fast friends, sharing a love of the ballet, live theatre, and competitive trivia. Julia was delighted to meet Tucker a few years later and can't wait to celebrate this beautiful couple on their big day! (And in case you were wondering, yes, Tucker joined Julia & Elizabeth's trivia team. But we are still on a never-ending search for a good music trivia teammate...)

I met Tucker and Elizabeth through my wife Julia (Tucker’s sister). We quickly bonded over thanksgiving holidays, vacations and fishing trips and bourbon/wine. So very honored and happy to be a part of their big day.

Jenna met Tucker their freshman year at Penn and the two quickly bonded over their love of music. Jenna was thrilled years later when Elizabeth entered Tucker's life and has enjoyed both of their friendships ever since. Jenna and her husband Kevin look forward to many more wonderful summer nights on Cape Cod with Elizabeth and Tucker for years to come.

It was my sincerest pleasure to meet Elizabeth and Tucker at a dinner party years ago. Between her incredible warmth and his Texas charm, we became fast friends. I was even lucky enough to assist Tucker in executing his surprise proposal on the rooftop of the Metropolitan Museum of Art! I cannot think of a more wonderful and well matched pair, and I am so excited to celebrate with them on their big day!

My husband introduced Elizabeth to me as one of his best friends from high school. Before officially meeting her, I heard stories of their high school and college adventures, of her warmth and kindness, of her exquisite taste, and of course, her cooking and baking skills. I was so excited to meet Elizabeth since she sounded pretty awesome. When we met for the first time (without Max!) in Central Park, she greeted me with a gift in hand, and I was immediately drawn in by her warm welcome and her thoughtfulness. Since then, I've witnessed Elizabeth and Tucker discuss the paleolithic era at the American Museum of Natural History, fly fishing in the midst of the pandemic, and vaccine-induced TV binges over champagne and oysters. I'm so excited to witness next, their commitment to each other.
