A beautiful young woman, Carly, moves from the bustling city of Dallas, Texas to her small home town of Marysville, Ohio to open a gym with her brother. Turning her business from a dream to reality takes a toll on her personal life, and her desire for a romantic relationship falls to the back burner. In spite of these challenges, she does make the attempt to date the few eligible men in her small town, but they couldn't keep up with her busy work schedule. A few years after she opened the business, hot on the heals of another attempt at dating, she says a prayer that maybe, just maybe, there could be someone out there that would be the perfect match. There waiting at the gym is a handsome young man , Christopher, that had just moved from San Francisco. His parents had recommended that he go to her since they had been training at the gym for a few years. Could this be the one? After a few months of training at the gym, they got to know each other through small talk in between workouts. To her surprise, they actually grew up in the same small town together. He had been going to her parents small optometry practice, where his mother had also worked. Their parents had even gone to the same church for over a decade. Sparks had started to fly, that would soon turn in to a roaring flame. She noticed he was starting to chat longer after their workouts, their conversations becoming more and more personal with each passing week. Soon she found herself texting him outside of work to keep their conversations going, even on days he wasn't coming in to the gym. The only catch, he was a client. Trying to walk the fine line between keeping the business first and her desire to pursue a relationship, she decided to wait and let him make the first move. Little did she know, he was facing a similar dilemma. Should he risk losing his trainer if she wasn't interested? But her friends cooked up an idea that would change Carly and Christopher's lives forever. The idea was simple, she would host a cookout for Memorial Day, and invite him to see if he was interested. He accepted the invite immediately, canceling a trip he had planned to visit family in another state, just to spend time with her outside of the gym. After staying at the cookout well in to the evening with Carly and her friends, he knew now was the time to make a move. Which he did the very next weekend, inviting her to the Memorial Golf Tournament. The date was wonderful. They talked and talked, laughing and connecting the dots on just how much they had in common. After they left the tournament He drives her home, and just before she gets out of the car, she decides to invite him to her parents lake house to have dinner with her family. Worried he would say no, she was surprised that he said yes with no hesitation. Little did she know, her mom had already planned on him coming and had made him a plate before Carly asked if it was ok. After dinner, Christopher takes her back home and before she gets out, her heart starts to race as she knew this could be the moment they first kiss. Even though he knew this was the perfect moment, he said good night and she started to walk in to the house. Before she got to the house, he jumps out of the car and runs to catch her. With one swift motion he spins her around and they share their first kiss. We fast forward to December, where the Christmas season is in full swing. They decide to decorate a Christmas tree together using all the ornaments that had been passed down from their families. Exchanging stories of each ornament, they laugh and smile, enjoying such a beautiful moment together. Christopher pulls out an angel tree topper that was his grandmothers and asks her to put it on top of the tree. After she puts the final decoration on the tree, she turns to see him down on one knee with a beautiful ring and he asks, "will you marry me?"
