Like many of our modern love stories, this one started with a swipe, thank you Bumble! The two shared their first of many dates at Swell Taco in Patchogue, where the two later shared their first of many homes together. (How cute, very Circle of Life of the couple). Something in the air that night told them they had both found their forever tacos & margaritas date. Then on October 16th, 2018, at Sparkling Pointe Vineyard, Justin decided to make things official and asked Alyssa to go out with him. She responded with "Isn't that what we are already doing?" And from that day on, they were inseparable.

On the morning of February 12th, 2022 the day started off as a normal Saturday morning for Alyssa. Alyssa had plans to spend the day with her best friend at her birthday brunch. What Alyssa did not know was that for months right under her nose Justin and her best friend Kayla were planning their proposal. Brunch went as planned, Alyssa suspected absolutely nothing. Lured down to Port Jefferson after brunch for an hour of drinks on an oddly spring like day in the thick of winter, Alyssa was taking pictures with her best friend in front of the water. Without her ever even noticing, Justin approached with a bouquet of red roses and tapped Alyssa on the shoulder. Alyssa was instantly stunned and it clicked for her what was happening. Justin gave a beautiful speech, got down on one knee, and asked Alyssa to marry him. Alyssa of course, said yes, as quickly as she could starting the beginning of the rest of their lives together.
