Our Journey
Once upon a midnight whiskey, at a friend's wedding in West Palm Beach, Jay took a chance and cozied up to a sweet gal who caught his eye—Danene. After spending some time together at both the rehearsal dinner and the reception, there was an instant connection and many laughs were shared.
As it turned out, they both were living in Los Angeles and yet each of them had roots in New England, a mere hour and a half away from each others' childhood homes. Danene wasn't sure if Jay was serious about meeting up again but she was pleasantly surprised when he requested a date upon their return to the Golden State. They've been two peas in a pod ever since that fateful night in 2018.
Though they picked out the ring together, he surprised her with an engagement during a trip to Nantucket on September 27, 2022. The rest is history.
