One of our absolute favorite restaurants for brunch, lunch, or dinner with a beautiful view and balconies overlooking River Street! The venue itself is a restored cotton warehouse which once served as a hub for General Sherman's army during the Civil War - be sure to look in the main dining room for a map on display that one of the Union soldiers drew by hand to show the route of Sherman's march to the sea.

Founded over a century ago, Leopold’s is one of every locals’ favorites because of their award-winning, homemade ice cream. It’s also been named one of the 20 yummiest ice cream shops in America! City Market is a four-block area of nineteen restored warehouses that form a unique hub of social and business activity in the heart of Savannah’s Historic District. We highly recommend Byrd Cookie Company - their key lime and peach cookies are to die for, and you are welcome to sample as many types of cookies as you want! You can also grab free, fresh praline samples from Savannah's Candy Kitchen. If you are in the mood for pizza, Vinnie Van Go-Go's is a Savannah staple serving quick, fresh slices and to-go beer. Those who enjoy history should check out the American Prohibition Museum, the only museum dedicated to the prohibition of alcohol in the United States. After a tour (or even if you skip the museum), you can head upstairs to Congress Street Up, a speakeasy-style cocktail bar reminiscent of the Prohibition era, to enjoy a drink or take one of the nightly cocktail classes.

Refer to their website for food trucks available and events each day.
Zunzi's began when its founders created the eclectic menu by fusing the flavors of their cultural backgrounds, South African, Swiss, Italian, and Dutch. SCAD students and local businesspeople quickly fell in love with the restaurant's saucy sandwiches. We recommend getting the Conquistador, which was named one of the top 10 sandwiches in the world, and a South African sweet tea.
The Grove is a sophisticated casual restaurant & rooftop bar in the heart of Savannah’s bustling City Market that serves lunch and dinner daily, and brunch on the weekends. We recommend getting the smoked cheddar grits and/or jalapeno honey drizzle fries.
