Meeting in Biology class at Kean University freshman year, Chris and Trish became classmate pals. Countless crammed study sessions, and even a senior thesis in 2014 together; they never knew almost a decade later they were destined to be soulmates. With Chris doing frat boy things, and Trish keeping her head in the books, there was too much going on at Kean at the time. After many years and lots of growing up, Chris and Trish started reconnecting over Instagram messages, commenting on similar posts about running, beer, and great outdoor adventures. Finally, in August of 2022, they finally met up for a run at Echo Lake Park (near Kean) and had post run brews at Two Ton Brewing. That's when the stars aligned. Soon after on a weekend trip to Bethlehem, PA, to see Colbie Caillat in concert—Chris "officially" asked Trish to be his girlfriend. The sweet old school way. Chris and Trish were inseparable after that, and many great memories were made including plenty of other concerts, beercations to Vermont and Maine, catching Yankees and Devils games together, and supporting each other at the New York City and London Marathons! In July 2023, Chris and Trish moved to Jersey City together, thanks to some more stars aligning and the opportunity to make the move! They became a part of an amazing community of people in the JC Heights and love their home full of runners, musicians, and genuine people altogether. A year later, it only made sense to complete their home with rescuing their pup, Colbie girl! She joined them on their first trip as a little family to Portland, Maine late September 2024. It was on this trip where Chris popped the question in Trish's favorite sunrise spot at the Portland Headlight in Cape Elizabeth! Chris and Trish are so excited to say "I do," where they first met at Kean University, in the Liberty Hall Estate gardens on June 28th, 2025 with their family and friends!! #Trishtopher2025
