Chris and Elizabeth arranged to meet for coffee for their first date, which was scheduled just before Elizabeth’s 25th birthday. Clearly, Chris was smitten, as after their meeting, he saved Elizabeth's name in his phone as "Elizabeth Potential," indicating he saw the possibility of a future. By the time of their second date, which included dinner at Slurping Turtle and a walk in Burns Park, it was obvious to both that their initial connection had the potential to grow into something even more meaningful. Chris, who enjoyed hedging his bets, found Elizabeth’s decisiveness and clarity refreshing, while Elizabeth appreciated the deep and dynamic perspectives Chris brought into her life. As they continued to date, Chris’s hesitancy faded in the light of Elizabeth’s certainty. Both valued the unique way each filled the gaps in the other's world. It wasn't long before "Elizabeth Potential" was no longer just a hopeful tag in his phone, but a realized part of his life.
