How We Met

3.3.2020

A mutual friend attempted to set Tricia and Aaron up on a date and they did not hit it off. Shortly after, they continued to have run ins at the gym and discovered they lived a mile away from each other. On March 3, 2020 a tornado hit Nashville and at 1:00 am Tricia called Aaron to check on him. They ended up talking through the night. The Next day, they discovered they still did not have power from the outages. They went to their local Mexican restaurant for some Margaritas and just talked for a few hours. After that night, they started to talk and see each other more. They discovered that they shared the same love for music, shared the same sense of humor, and wanted the same things in life. Once the COVID-19 pandemic hit, they spent the lock down cooking, watching movies, and doing puzzles. Their love started with a tornado, endured a pandemic, and will last a lifetime.

The Proposal

10.20.2023

On Friday October 20th, 2023. Tricia and Aaron were heading out to enjoy a day at Disney World in Tricia's hometown of Orlando, Florida. They were on a trip with Aaron's family. Tricia was excited to show Aaron around Disney World for his first time, and Aaron was anticipating their first picture on Main Street. Once they entered the park, they took a group photo in front of Cinderella's Castle. Afterwards, Aaron asked for a picture of just the two of them and wasted no time getting on one knee. Surrounded by Aaron's family, and hundreds of strangers, she said "yes!".
