Both the ceremony and reception will be taking place at The Simon, a venue located at 957 Main Street in Louisville, Colorado. The building is located in the heart of the historic and charming downtown area of the town. The ceremony will take place on the second floor of the building and the reception will take place on the ground floor. There will be stair and elevator access in the space! There will be some directional signage when you walk into the venue, but we think you will find that with the nature of the space, navigating around will be a breeze.
Uber and Lyft are always a great option for getting around. If you do plan to use one of these ride services and are traveling from The Renaissance Hotel, we recommend you plan ahead and schedule your ride in advance to avoid long pickup wait times. No shuttle will be provided. If you plan to drive your own vehicle, street parking is available nearby. Please take a look at our 'Hotel & Travel' tab for detailed parking information!
Yes! There is nonrestricted street parking just north of the venue as well as some lots located throughout the downtown area. There is some 2-hr restricted parking. Refer to our 'Hotel & Travel' for detailed parking information. Both the ceremony and reception will be indoors in the same building! There will be access to a balcony space during cocktail hour as well as a small patio area in front of the venue during the reception if you need to get some fresh air. There will be coat racks provided at the venue for your use when you arrive :)
Yes! We have reserved a block of rooms at The Renaissance Boulder Flatiron Hotel. Please refer to our 'Hotel & Travel' tab for more information about accessing our hotel block and group rate.
Semi-formal/Cocktail - We want you feeling snazzy and comfortable! Your favorite suit and tie are encouraged but not required. Dresses of any length are perfect for our wedding! Please no jeans (or shorts, Derek).
As us Coloradans love to brag about, we get to experience 300 days of sunshine a year! Truly, it could be 20 degrees or it could be 60 degrees in December. We recommend checking the weather throughout the week if you are coming from out of town to plan travel and attire while you are here. There will be coat racks at the venue for your use when you arrive :)

We love your little ones! But, due to space restrictions, we cannot accommodate guests under the age of 12 on our wedding day.
We will be serving light bites during cocktail hour followed by a buffet selection of BBQ fare.
The buffet dinner will have gluten free entrees and a gluten free side option. There are also a couple of vegetarian side options.
Yes, there will be an open bar during cocktail hour and at the reception!
Your presence is the best present! However, for friends and family who have expressed an interest, we have created a gift registry as well as a Honeymoon Fund link on this website.
Like we said, celebrating our wedding day with you is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home at 9365 Dunraven Loop, Arvada, CO 80007. A wedding card box will be available at our reception!
Just to give you all a general idea of the festivities. The ceremony will last approximately 30 minutes and will be followed immediately by the cocktail hour. The reception will begin at 5:30pm with dinner being served around 6pm followed by dancing the evening away.
The venue will be accessible 30 minutes prior to the ceremony. We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes in advance to relax and enjoy the music! The venue is very easy to get to, and we don't anticipate parking being an issue!
The reception will end at 11pm!

For those that want to keep the party going after the dancing ends, Henry’s Bar & Grill is walking distance from the venue and stays open late! There you can chill, play pool, darts and just enjoy the atmosphere of a gold ole dive bar.
