Our Story

We met in chiropractic school. We had friends that tried to set us up, but we said no because we didn't want to date another chiropractor....so naturally we fell in love. We quickly realized that we had so much in common. We both love football, oldies music, and food. Since we were about to live in separate states, we tried to just be friends, but that became impossible. We've been together for 4 years now and we still say we're in the honeymoon phase. Life is easy and wonderful when you get to spend every day with your best friend.

The Proposal

"Why mess with a good formula"

When we lived in Atlanta, Trey always had to mince the garlic. I had a hand press and was never strong enough to use it. After we had been dating for a few months, Trey gave me an easy-to-use garlic mincer. We joked that he had essentially replaced himself. He was needed again when I moved to Las Vegas. I could never open jars. The night that he proposed, he bought me a jar opener. I once again joked that he was no longer needed. His words- "Well if you don't need me anymore, how about you keep me around just because you like me?" Both of our dads proposed to our moms in a car. So of course he proposed in a car. "Why mess with a good formula?" is what he says. I'm not quite sure if I made any coherent words for quite awhile. But everyone else's response has been "Well it's about time."
