This is a modern love story. After messaging each other on a dating app the two met up on a sunny winter Sunday at Across the Board Game Cafe. Beth arrived first, and remembers seeing the tall, handsome Trevor walk through the door with a man bun. Trevor remembers seeing Beth's strawberry blonde hair and thinking she looked exactly like her pictures. Beth beat Trevor at the many games they played and Trevor liked her competitive spirit. The more they dated the two found novelty in each others worlds. Trevor went to Pilates, the theatre and even onstage in the Nutcracker. Beth went for hikes, camping and to watch his triathlons. Before the pandemic Trevor asked Beth to move in and they were excited to host friends in their new duplex in Crescentwood. However, 2020 meant the two saw a lot more of each other and less of the world. Trevor's work life exploded during the pandemic and Beth spent a lot of time dancing in the kitchen. The pair recently purchased their first home together, a 50's two story house in River Heights. While they were searching for the house Trevor created a spreadsheet for their finances. Luckily for Trevor, Beth is terrible at using Excel and it was easy to hide cells with his big surprise for her. While in Muskoka reuniting with Beth's family, Trevor popped the question.
