What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal. It is a backyard wedding and reception. Please be comfortable and bring a jacket/sweater for spring weather as we will be outdoors.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

May is tricky in New England. It could be 45 or 65. The evening will be chilly and it’s always best to prepare for rain. There will be a tent in case of unfortunate weather.

Will there be parking?

Answer

Yes. Parking will be available on the property. There is no fee for parking.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both will be outdoors.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking photos nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception tent where there will be beverages and music. Please utilize this time to sign our guestbook, put in song requests with the DJ, mingle, etc.

Is there a seating chart?

Answer

There is no seating chart; we want everyone to sit where they’re comfortable. There will be a “kids table”.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

There will be children at the wedding. Please specify on the RSVP if your children will be attending. Please note- we do not have someone to watch your children, this will be the parents responsibility.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

A date is welcome but we are trying to remain on budget so please let us know on the RSVP if you will be bringing a +1.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

Please RSVP by 4/7/2022 using the RSVP card and pre-stamped envelope provided with the invitation.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

We will be having a BBQ buffet style dinner. Non-alcoholic beverages will be provided.

Do you have a bar service?

Answer

We will not have a bar service. We will provide non-alcoholic beverages and some beer and wine but please BYOB.

Will you provide transportation?

Answer

We will not be providing transportation. Please have a sober driver.
