It was Fourth of July weekend, 2020, in Ocean City, MD where Alexandra was staying with her best friend Jenna, her future husband, Dave, and their daughter, Makenna. Meanwhile, Trevor was also in Ocean City for his annual cousins beach trip (Also Dave's family trip because they are related!). Turns out, July 3rd was the last day Trevor would be at the beach before heading to Cambridge, MD (his hometown) and then catching a flight to Atlanta, GA, where he had begun work as a welding engineer. So, after a long day on the beach and briefly meeting Alexandra, Trevor was adamant that everyone go out for drinks that evening after Ledo's pizza in the beach condo. As the night continued, Trevor and Alexandra struck up conversation and he insisted upon getting her phone number, despite her repeatedly saying "you know I'm older than you". Alexandra had little faith she would ever hear from Trevor after that night, but sure enough she received a text the next day asking if he could fly her out to visit him in Atlanta. Fast forward 3+ years, where they have managed long- distance, moving Alexandra and Lucy from Maryland to Georgia, rescuing their cat- Saylor, and buying a home together.

Trevor proposed to Alexandra the only way he knew how- on his own terms (he did not give anyone a heads up), on a boat at the lake, just the two of them, and their dog, Lucy. While Alexandra was setting up their charcuterie board for their sunset cruise that Friday, Trevor was slyly pouring her Sauvignon Blanc into a wine tumbler, placing the ring inside. Once Alexandra started sipping, she noticed something sparkling through the lid, and the rest is history! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Georgia!
