We're Getting Married

We met in the beginning of 2018. We were introduced through the magical space known as Tinder. We got to know each other, then a couple weeks later we went on our first date at BJ’s in Tallahassee, FL. We shared our love for God, FAMU, BJ’s pizza, music and more. We enjoyed spending time with each other but sparks didn’t fly just yet. Treana was busy pursuing her Master’s Degree and Jarell was working to get on-camera as a news reporter. We reconnected around the summer, when Treana invited Jarell to a Wednesday church service. After that, our love grew tremendously. Then on August 17th, 2018 we officially started our relationship. Two months later, Jarell moved from Tallahassee to Panama City Beach to continue his career as a news reporter. We thought the distance would be a challenge and we wouldn’t see each other that much. However, we spent so much time with eachother we needed to take a break lol. Despite the distance we were inseparable. Over the years, we grew closer and closer. We shared countless memories a plethora of FaceTime calls, burgers on the beach, Warhorse, countless movies (many of them were Marvel), Birthday celebrations, Fire Betty’s, Treana’s graduation, A trip to Miami, meeting family members, etc. The distance between us expanded even more, when Jarell moved to Killeen, Texas to continue his career in News and Treana moved to Melbourne, FL to start her career as an Occupational Therapist. Just as the miles between us increased, so too did our love. We went back and forth between Texas and Florida to visit each other. If we weren’t there in-person, then we were on FaceTime lol. Then, Treana decided to take a leap and move to Texas. Little did she know, Jarell decided to take a leap as well. On February 4, 2022, Jarell proposed to Treana the day before moving to Texas in front of several family and friends. And here we are today, ready to take the that next step forward and spend the rest of our lives together!
