Question

Where is parking?

Answer

Due to the event center only having very minimal parking, we will be providing transportation services from our house (3 mins away) to the venue. Please arrive at our house by 2pm and you will be transported to the venue. We will transport you back to your vehicles in the evening as needed. Please reach out to Michelle (828) 335-0812 for any questions regarding parking. Thank you!

What if I have a special dietary need?

Answer

We have different options for the meals so please let us know if you have any food allergies or need to request a special meal that we do not have listed.

Where should we stay around the area?

Answer

We have listed numerous options of places to stay near the venue. Please let us know if you need help finding an Airbnb or are looking for someone to split the cost of one with. We can try and help accommodate as much as possible.

If we are staying at the venue, what time is checkout on Sunday?

Answer

Checkout time is at 4 pm.

What are some cool places to visit while in the area?

Answer

We have listed about 30 different places to visit and see under the “things to do” tab on our website.

Will there be alcoholic beverages at the wedding?

Answer

Yes, we will be providing some beer and wine. We are not getting a liquor permit, therefore liquor is absolutely not allowed but please feel free to bring any of your favorite beer or wine. We want everyone to have a fun time!

Is smoking allowed at the venue?

Answer

There are designated smoking areas only, so please make sure to only smoke in the designated areas to avoid any issues.

Am I allowed to bring my dog to the venue?

Answer

As much as we love pets, there is a strict no pets allowed policy for the whole property.

Am I allowed to carry my weapon or firearm on me?

Answer

There is a strict policy on no weapons or firearms on the property.

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

We have asked that everyone please dress semi-formal or dressy casual. The venue is outside and in the forest so we want everyone to feel as comfortable as possible while still looking nice.

Is there hiking at the venue?

Answer

Yes. There are a few trails that you’re more than welcome to hike on at the venue.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by May 1, 2022.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Our registration is on the website. We are not registered for any items, only cash funds that will go towards our honeymoon. We will also have a card drop box at the venue.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We are asking all guests to please arrive by 2 pm the day of the wedding and the ceremony will begin at 3 pm.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you would like to bring a date and did not get a “plus guest” on your invitation, please let us know and we will try to accommodate you.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids are welcome however, we will not have a babysitter on site. It is completely up to you if you would like to bring your children or not but they are most definitely welcome to come!

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We are having a few other smaller events that are for the bridal party and family to attend. If you are coming to town early and would like to attend anything special please send me a private message.

Will there be assigned seating?

Answer

Yes. We will have assigned rows during the ceremony and assigned tables during the reception. There will be signs directing you to which row or table you are at and you can always ask the day of coordinator (Sydney) for direction.
