We recommend checking out lady bird lake and the surrounding trails. You can walk along the river, have a picnic in auditorium shores, or rent paddle boards / kayaks!

Lady Bird Lake & Auditorium Shores

The peak is a fantastic viewing point for sunsets and sunrises! It's only about a mile-loop, you can wear tennis shoes. Bring a snack or a bottle of vino to enjoy on the rocks above.

Hike Mount Bonnell

There are a ton of restaurants and shops here that are unique to Austin, and you can catch a great view of the Capitol building here! Check out Tecovas, Aba, and Jo's Coffee, and snap a pic next to the 'I love you so much' mural!

South Congress

Ask for the beef rib and the brisket. There's always a line, but it moves fast!

Casual spot and great for groups to grab some food and drinks!

We love the steak tacos! Head there for breakfast or lunch, or head to P6 in The Line Hotel for cocktails and river views. After, you can walk across the bridge at dusk to see the bats!
