Are there discounted room rates?

Answer

Yes, give them the group code “VHW” when you call the hotel and you will get the block room rate. Or go to the Travel page and there is a link for you to copy and paste that will show you available rooms.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Beach casual! Hawaiian shirts, sun dresses, shorts (no swim trunks, gym shorts, or shorts with holes please), sandals (we will be on the sand for the ceremony portion so wear what you can walk comfortably in), capris, denim, or polos.

Is there parking available?

Answer

If you are staying at the hotel, you can pay for valet parking. If you are going to be driving from elsewhere there is free parking across the street next to the fire station. There is a bridge to get across but it is a bit steep so consider valet if stairs are an issue.

Any restaurants or bars near the hotel?

Answer

The hotel has a tiki bar and lounge downstairs as well as a Starbucks. They also have a breakfast buffet downstairs as well.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please be seated by 5:15. The ceremony will start at 5:30 and should go until around 6. Cocktail hour is from 6-7 and appetizers and refreshments with an open bar will be available. Dinner will start around 7 and is buffet style. The reception will run til 11pm with the open bar available throughout as well as a snack available later into the reception.
