After spending most of our 20s in Baltimore City and never crossing paths, we met in the summer of 2018 through our respective roommates (shoutout to wedding party members Caitlin and Andy Gabell!) who were dating at the time. We hit it off that first night out, and eventually Travis asked Michaela on a date. One date quickly turned into several dates, and before we knew it Michaela was moving in with Travis in Locust Point with our dog Boo, who Travis (previously not a dog guy) had grown to love.

Under the guise of a work dinner, Travis took Michaela to the waterfront in Locust Point, which happens to be one of our favorite neighborhood spots. While Michaela was wondering where the water taxi was, Travis got down on one knee and popped the question. Pulling off the ultimate surprise, the water taxi then pulled up full of our family and friends to head to Fells Point to celebrate the engagement. We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter with all of you!
