September 26th.
If you're not staying at the room block hotels (see the Travel section of this website), we recommend staying in a hotel near Old Town, as you'll be closer to more interesting sights and stuff to do.
- Explore Old Town, which is the historical and cultural center of Albuquerque. It's a cute area with historic adobe buildings, shops, art galleries, and restaurants. - Take a ride on the Sandia Peak Tramway, where you'll have amazing views of the city and the surrounding mountains. At the top you can hike, eat at the restaurant, or just enjoy the scenery. In late October, the fall colors will be beautiful from up there! - A drive along the Turquoise Trail National Scenic Byway offers beautiful views and the chance to explore quirky towns like Madrid, which is full of art galleries and cafes. - On Sunday, you can visit the Railyards Market for local food, crafts, and live entertainment. There are literally hundreds of vendors.
Around 4pm. Light refreshments will be available to guests starting at 4 with the wedding beginning at 4:30pm.
Our wedding is cocktail attire, and for Fall in Albuquerque we suggest: mid length or longer dresses, elegant separates, sport coats & pants or suits.
Yes! The parking lot for the event is the one to your left after the entrance drive. There will be signage for the wedding, but you can also look for signs to the La Quinta building.
The ceremony will be located directly behind the La Quinta building. There will be signage and staff around to usher guests to the right place.
In and around the La Quinta building. The dinner will take place outside on the terrace.
