Where is the wedding?
Answer
Lake Ballinger Center (Mountlake Terrace Senior Center) 23000 Lakeview Drive Mountlake Terrace, WA 98043 The ceremony and reception will be on site. The venue is wheelchair accessible, but the ceremony will take place on grass.

How do I get there?
Answer
There is parking available on site. However, it is on a popular lake so it may be busy. If you need overflow parking, try the Boat Ramp lot at Lake Ballinger or along Lakeview Drive. You are welcome to use Uber or Lyft as well (there shouldn't be a long wait for pick up from the venue since it is in the city).

What should I wear?

Summer Formal How often do you get a chance to dress up?! Cocktail or sundress, suit or slacks-tie optional Please keep in mind that the ceremony will take place on the grass so be mindful with your footwear

Is it going to rain?
Answer
This is Seattle so you never really know, but historically, early September will still be warm: 70-80 degrees F during the day dropping to the 60s in the evening. The ceremony will take place outside, but the reception will be mostly indoors with the option of enjoying the covered patio.

What should I expect on the day of the wedding?
Answer
The ceremony will start at 5pm and will last approximately 25minutes. There will be a short "cocktail hour" immediately following the ceremony with beverages and lawn games. We plan to start the reception and have dinner started by 6:30pm. There will be games, entertainment, and dancing with the happy couple exiting at 9:45pm. Guests should plan to leave by 10pm.

Guests age 6 and up are welcome! Please include them in your RSVP. Please reach out if you have questions or specific requests.

Full dinner and dessert, Vegetarian option available

Will there be an open bar?
Answer
There will be a selection of specialty cocktails, beer, wine, and champagne available. Tips are appreciated for the bartender.

We are! Check the links up above to be directed to our registries. Your presence is present enough, but should you choose to bring a gift to the wedding, there will be a gift table for your convenience. If you would prefer to mail a gift ahead of time, you may address it to the happy couple via their home address: 335 NE 162nd Street, Shoreline, WA 98155
