We met in Calculus class. We made eye contact several times but never said anything to each other. One day, I decided to ask Antonio for his help with the homework assignment and he agreed. We decided that we would meet at the library to go over the assignment. After that day we became study partners and great friends. The rest is history.
It was two months prior when I decided to put my elaborate plan in effect to propose to Tracey. I recall reaching out to one of my best friends and her close friends and enlisting their help. They happily obliged. We planned for the big day but once COVID-19 hit, I had to readjust my plan. Through prayer, God revealed to me how to make this moment happen and be special. It was the day after Tracey's birthday and I suggested we have a picnic along this trail I found by the Chattahoochee River. I told her to dress nice because we would take pictured too. Once we arrived, there was a beautiful scenery ahead of us and we started taking pictures. Afterwards I had her take pictures alone and with her back towards me, I got down on one knee and when she turned around, there I was popping the question. She said yes of course and we embraced. Little did she know our friends were in the background capturing the beautiful moment! We all gathered together and celebrated the coming together of T&T.
