We recommend renting a condo/house as this is the best value when staying on the island. From small waterfront condos to large beachfront homes, there are a plethora of options. Where to stay: Sea Pines or Forest Beach areas, as these are the closest areas to the day of events. Wedding day events will take place in Harbourtown, located in Sea Pines. There is a complimentary trolley that runs through Sea Pines that can take you to the beach and Harbourtown. When to book: We recommend booking a year in advance as Hilton Head is a popular Labor Day destination. Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport
The second closest airport with the most direct and reasonable flight options. 45 min drive from Savannah to Hilton Head. We recommend picking up a rental car from the airport to use throughout your stay. There is also a small airport in Hilton Head, but tends to be more costly than Savannah.
