The cutest little shop in downtown Driggs. Grab locally made art, ceramics, and so much more! The shop is next to the Driggs town square, which hosts the farmers market every Friday morning from 9-1 and the art market every Saturday morning from 9-3!
Worldcast anglers is an awesome fly fishing guiding service in downtown Victor! There are also spots around the area where you can fish without a guide - Teddy's favorites are the Teton River (our local river with multiple put-ins for wading or floating) or the South Fork of the Snake River (world-class fishing 45 min away). Grab an Idaho fishing license at The Emporium in downtown Victor.
The mountain biking in this area is AWESOME!! Check out Teton Pass or Grand Targhee for downhill trails and the Big Holes or Mike Harris for a cross-country experience. Reach out to Tory or Teddy for personalized biking recommendations. Also, you can rent a mountain bike from Wheel Wranglers or Fitzgerald's Bicycles.
Our local ski hill in Driggs, ID. You can ride the ski lift up and hike down, or have lunch at the top. There is also amazing lift-accessed mountain biking here! Check out the Trailforks app for more trail information in this area.
Grand Teton National Park is one of our favorite places out west! The park is just 15 minutes north of the town of Jackson - about an hour from Victor. We highly recommend spending some time here to hike, explore, and enjoy the incredible scenery. GET HERE EARLY - it gets busier as the day goes on. On your way out, stop at Dornan's restaurant in Moose, WY (just outside the entrance to the park) for a beer and pizza on their rooftop deck. For specific hiking recommendations, contact Tory or Teddy!
Park at the Lawerence Rockefeller Preserve to start the hike. Get there EARLY as this parking lot is small and tends to fill up fast. If it is full, you can drive to the Death Canyon Trailhead and hike down to the lake from there. If parking at Death Canyon Trailhead use this map: https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/wyoming/phelps-lake--5 There is a rock to jump off midway through the hike - a yellow dot on the AllTrails map! You can hike all the way around the lake, or walk to the rock and back.
Beautiful out-and-back hike! Park at Jenny Lake and hike around the lake or take the boat shuttle across ($20 per person) which reduces your hiking time. From here, you'll head up Cascade Canyon. As with most trails in GTNP, the farther up the trail you go, the fewer people you will see. If you want a challenging hike, go all the way up to Lake Solitude.
A locals’ favorite at the foot of the Grand Teton. Parking and the trailhead are a circus, but the trail gets exponentially less crowded as you go. Read the description in the link very carefully!! It is very easy to miss the trail. Seriously. This hike requires good fitness and lots of snacks. We dare you to take a dip in the lake!
