First we must go back to my freshman year of college where I met and had a class with my best friend Jessica Schimming (Bartholomay). She had her friends from high school come up to Minot to visit a few times, and she introduced me to her now husband, Seth, and her friend Jordan. That was the start of how this story started! We officially started dating in August of 2009.

In the late fall of 2016 we had recently found out the news that we were going to expecting a little baby in the summer. We didn't publicly announce the news until later in the winter, and had talked about waiting to get married after the baby had arrived. Well since we had talked about waiting, I certainly wasn't expecting a proposal during my pregnancy. We went on a little weekend vacation to Fargo with my best friend Paige Bryant (Rudel) and her family so I could help out with her family photos. She was so kind to invite me to be in a few photos because I had been living with her family. (Her and Beau would joke that I was their live-in nanny/auntie) Well when I was getting ready to take a photo with her kids, Graydin held up a sign that said: Auntie, Will You Marry Jordan? Then I turned around to see Jordan on one knee! I couldn't believe that it was happening, and it was photographed! So later I found out that Paige and Jordan had been planning this the entire time! It was truly a surprise and so happy it was documented!
