Nope! There are many ways you can ascend the mountain. There is an auto road + a cog railway available. Here is more information on those: https://mt-washington.com/drive-yourself/ https://www.thecog.com
We will be meeting at 7am sharp at the Pinkham Notch Visitor Center on August 10th. We will be hiking up via the Tuckerman Ravine and Lion Head Trail - an intense 4 hour climb to the summit. If you are unsure if you want to hike up, please refer to the AllTrails map for the hike: https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/new-hampshire/tuckerman-ravine-trail-to-mount-washington Please remember to bring a day pack with snacks, trekking poles, and lots of water. We will be meeting the remaining guests up at the top! Our hiking group will be driven down the mountain by family and guests and dropped at their cars at Pinkham Notch Trailhead.
Our plan B for inclement weather is to host our ceremony inside the greenhouse at The Barn on the Pemi. Please check back to this website on Tuesday, August 8th for a final weather decision.
