Mount Washington

The very best way to see the city! Take the historical incline up Mt. Washington or simple go for a joy ride up to the top to see views for miles of the beautiful Pittsburgh skyline. Can’t beat the city from up here.

Pittsburgh classic staple food... huge sandwiches piled high with French fries, coleslaw, and basically a million other delicious things. Only bad part about these sandwiches is that they are often too big to fit in your mouth!

Strip District

The Strip District is one of our favorite neighborhoods in Pittsburgh for a number of reasons. It is home to a large assortment of international grocery stores and retailers, boutique shops, independent merchants, and several of the best restaurants in Pittsburgh (many of which feature international cuisine as well). Looking for Steeler, Penguins, or Pirates gear? No better place but the markets on Liberty Avenue.

The Andy Warhol Museum

The Andy Warhol Museum is located on the North Shore about 5 minutes away from the Residence Inn. It is the largest museum in North America dedicated to a single artist. The museum holds an extensive permanent collection of art and archives from the Pittsburgh-born pop art icon Andy Warhol.
