We have our friends, Scott and Eric, to thank for our meeting. July 29th, 2016, they invited us to join them at Au Cheval for arguably the best cheeseburger in the US. The wait was long (4 hours) and during that time we bonded over our love of music, pizza, and Jameson. There weren't many words exchanged once we all stumbled to our booth for our burgers, but once we finished and began to part ways for the night, we exchanged numbers. We couldn't even wait until the next day to get in touch as the conversation continued until late that evening. We began dating shortly after that. After 2 years together, we decided to move in to our current home. It wasn't long before we adopted our first cat, Pickle. About 6 months later, we decided she needed a friend and adopted our second cat, Donut. In the 3 years we've lived together, we've shared ups, downs, a pandemic and a lot of laughs. On February 27th, 2021, we went on a short weekend getaway to Milwaukee. After a lovely steak dinner, Tony proposed at our favorite hotel, The Pfister. I said yes immediately and the hotel staff was lovely enough to treat us to all of our drinks that evening. Since our engagement, we've been busy planning the wedding and look forward to celebrating with all of our friends and family!
