What is the attire for the weekend?
Answer
THURSDAY WELCOME DRINKS - Dressy Casual Please refrain from wearing jeans, t-shirts and shorts. Men are encouraged to wear nice trousers with either a collared or button down shirt or sport jacket. Tie is not required. Women are encouraged to wear either a sundress, jumpsuit, or mid-length skirt. FRIDAY CEREMONY AND RECEPTION - Black Tie Attire Men are encouraged to wear either a black tux or black suit. Women are encouraged to wear long dresses. Please note that the ceremony and reception will take place outdoors so please plan your attire accordingly. A block heel is recommended for ladies due to some uneven surfaces.

Will transportation be provided?
Answer
Transportation will be provided for all guests on the wedding day from the following host hotels: Hotel Bennett and The Restoration in downtown Charleston and Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina in Mount Pleasant. Buses will promptly be departing the hotels at 4:30PM to take all guests to Boone Hall for the ceremony and reception. Early departure buses will be available to take guests from Boone Hall back to the host hotels at 9:30PM. Transportation will be provided at the end of the night to take guests to the after party at 11:00PM. Additionally, there are plenty of ride shares options available in downtown Charleston.

Are kids invited to the wedding?
Answer
Although we adore your children, all of our wedding events will be adults only. Should you choose to travel to Charleston with your family, please feel free to reach out to our planning team at haley@haleykellyevents.com and they will be able to suggest trusted babysitters for you!
