She was born and raised in New Orleans, taken through Dallas, sprouted in Atlanta, grew professionally in Chicago then returned home for a stint! Gabrielle is an AKA, avid New Orleans Saints fan and a Peloton aficionado! She loves traveling, photography, investing, and spending time with her pup.

I’m an Atlanta native born in New York, I am Malik’s nephew and have known him my whole life. As a kid I would always look up to Malik and even now I look up to him as one of the main influences in my life. I graduated the great Savannah state university in 2016 with a degree in communications, I have worked at the Fulton county government center in IT tech going on 4 years and I love it.

I am the Bride's baby brother. I grew up in Stone Mountain, GA and was an engineering major at Kennesaw State University before joining the U.S. Army. I am currently working on pursuing a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certificate to fulfill my passion of working on airplanes. When I'm not at work or in school I enjoy playing video games and watching football.

I am Malik’s older sister. I currently live in Atlanta, GA, but I was born and raised in NYC. I am a Special Education teacher. I have been teaching for 13 years and I advocate for children with special needs. I like to travel, watch documentaries and movies, listen to all genres of music, and being “Bob the Builder” at my house. Malik paved the way for me to be the mom I am to my son LeShon Jones. I remember when Malik was born and I didn’t want a sibling because I would have to share my mom, but now I look at the man my brother has grown to be and I am proud to be his sister. I am honored to share this moment and be in the wedding party along with LeShon and I look forward to gaining a sister in love. “May their day be as beautiful and refine as the happy couple themselves are”.

Calvin is a loving husband, father, uncle, and son. He grew up as a military brat which involved moving to new states and countries throughout his childhood. He met Malik during his first year as a Government Auditor. He tried to mentor and coach Malik throughout his career but has clearly failed. Calvin has been married to Monique Hursey for 10 wonderful years. Calvin and Monique have two somewhat tolerable children (Greyson and Madison) and enjoy long walks on the beach.

Toni and I met on my first night in DC at a party at Toni’s, the weekend before law school orientation in 2016. She was so welcoming and fun. Turns out we were also in the same section and legal writing class (not to mention also being Sorors!) so we studied, hung out, partied (i.e., did everything) together! Toni is and has always been a true sister friend I can count on and call for anything. I can’t wait to celebrate Toni and Malik on their big day!

I met Malik through my roommate during our freshman year at Morehouse. I actually didn’t like Malik when I first him, but over time he grew on me. Malik is like a brother to me and his friendship has been a blessing to me over the last 18 years. He has always had my back and I am honored to stand by him at his wedding. Congrats Toni and Malik!

I'm an Atlanta native (rare, we know) who met Malik in 2004 at Morehouse College through some mutual friends and immediately became friends ourselves. We've have been brothers ever since and Malik even ended up working for my Aunt at an internship (typical him though he didn't realize we were related until years later). Fast forward 18 years and Rob is a Library Branch Manager for DeKalb County Public Library System. He has been married to his wife Brandy for 8 wonderful years and they share an amazing daughter Joelle who is 20 and carrying on the HBCU tradition as a sophomore at Spelman College.

Hey everyone! Toni and I met the weekend before our first year of law school at a kickback she hosted. She was of course the best host! She was one of the first Sorors I met at Howard Law. I loved that Toni was inviting, sisterly, and real so to no surprise we became quick friends! Over the years, Toni has been my confidant, brunch buddy, party partner, and a true sister. I cannot wait to celebrate Toni and Malik’s union!

I'm from Atlanta (Grady baby) and met Malik at Morehouse when we were in the trenches of accounting. Malik had a very no-nonsense attitude and we formed a bond through scholastic pursuits that continues to this day. He almost became a Minnesota Viking fan like me, but fate has a way of putting you where you need to be. Jason lived in Minneapolis for 12 years and is now an accountant at a software company in Bowie, MD.

Toni and I met the first day of law school. We didn’t know where we were going so Marlique and I showed up to Toni’s apartment bright and early so we could all walk to class and figure it out together. The rest is history! When Malik came into the picture, I knew I was going to like him when I saw how patient he was with my friend. We met up for drinks shortly after they got together and it’s been such a pleasure seeing them grow together! I’m so happy I get to be a part of this celebration of love between Toni and Malik.

I initially got to know Malik as a fellow freshman at Morehouse College back in 2003. We met through a mutual friend and since then, he’s been a friend – more than a friend, a brother to me! Malik is the consummate friend, he’s been a level-headed (when he wants to be) confidante, my accountant and informal financial adviser when I need one. He’s a true contrarian at heart, someone always willing to play devil’s advocate and challenge your personal opinions in lighthearted banter. We met as young, naïve men with our lives ahead of us and it’s been my absolute pleasure to know and mature alongside Malik these past 18 years. Toni has brought so much happiness to Malik’s life and I consider myself lucky to have a front-row seat to witness it these past few years. I wish you both a long and fulfilling marriage filled with infinite love and laughter. Love you guys!

Jaliyah is in the 3rd grade, she is also the 3rd child of the her family. Her favorite color is pink, black and gold. She is one of the biggest Saints fans. She loves music and to dance. One of her favorite groups is Black Pink and her favorite food is Red Beans and Rice. Jaliyah loves to help out with her little brother and help her parents with cooking. Her favorite hobby is ballet and her favorite sport is gymnastics. When she grows up, she wants to be a pediatric nurse. Lastly, she loves to dress up and get her nails done. She changes clothes at least three times per day!! 😂
